It’s interesting how many things get pushed away when one is distracted. I spent the whole month of November busy with NaNoWriMo which, incidentally, has added quite a few chapters to this little project, and I didn’t realize just how many things I had put off until December because of it.
Seriously, I have no idea where I’m going to get the time from. For one thing, there is another story that is completely unrelated to Acqua di Gaia, and that I want to finish sometime soon. I consider it the “prototype” for this story, something that came to mind while I was working on the previousversion of NaNoWriMo. It’s quite simple really, a crossover between Bleach (the Manga/Anime) and the Fallout universe.
Sounds familiar, probably. To be fair, Acqua di Gaia came to mind (and got an outline) first, and the idea of doing that crossover followed as something that could be fun to do. They do share something though.

Which is what Acqua di Gaia runs on. The truth is, I though it would be funny to make a very detailed description of the typical Mahou Shoujo transformation scene if I were to make a “novel” version of it, but I ran into the obvious problem that, well, the “transformation sequence” is a cheaty way for animators to get a few minutes of “cut and paste” content for the chapter of the day and cut costs. Cut and paste in text, though, would be a terrible idea (and, arguably, it’s not a great idea for animation either). As such, I keep writing new transformation scenes every time the girls transform.
And let me tell you, some forty chapters into the future it starts to get challenging.
But it’s totally worth it. I’m still not sure how fun it is to read for everyone else, but this is really fun to write. And speaking of which, and without further ado, here is Chapter 7. Enjoy!
